Enhancing lead engagement through an automated email system.

Goals

The client requested to create a system that sends automated emails to inbound leads as soon as they submit the form on their website.

Challenges

The first challenge was connecting GoHighLevel (GHL) with Make.com. Since Make.com does not accept form submission as a trigger, we had to create an automation inside GHL and add a tag immediately, which was then used for filtering.

Another challenge faced was related to formatting issues. ChatGPT provided HTML format but Gmail did not accept this format correctly. This required us to use a different action - Direct Email Action.

Solutions

To address the integration issue between GoHighLevel and Make.com, we created an automation within GHL itself. We added tags immediately after form submissions which were then used as filters in our process.

For the formatting problem, instead of relying on HTML format from ChatGPT, we switched our approach and utilized Direct Email Action. This allowed us to bypass the compatibility issue between ChatGPT's HTML output and Gmail's accepted formats.

Results

Despite initial challenges in integrating systems and dealing with formatting issues, effective solutions were implemented resulting in successful automatic email responses sent out promptly upon lead form submissions.

This case study demonstrates that while there can be hurdles when integrating AI technologies like OpenAI's GPT into existing systems such as Make.com; these can be effectively overcome by innovative thinking and strategic planning leading to improved efficiency in lead engagement processes.
